Good Directions proprietary new Blue Verde and Chestnut patinas are simply stunning. Applied by hand, these patinas create a richly detailed color and luster found on no other weathervane in the marketplace today. Pure copper and brass are transformed into muti-toned blue-green or lightly hued chestnut brown patinas that won't rub off your hands. They evoke a sense of style, placing an elegant twist on a classic American art form.

Good Directions weathervanes are made of copper and brass just like the polished and antique styles. Superior to weathervanes of a lesser quality, these weathervanes each come with stainless steel and brass components to ensure years of maintenance free enjoyment.

About Weathervanes
Centuries ago, weathervanes were one of the first instruments to detect changes in the weather by pointing in the direction from which the wind was blowing. The Tower of Winds in Athens greece (48 BC) is among the earliest archaeological examples, topped with it's Triton weathervane. Over the years, a variety of ornaments have been created to display various cultural, religious and patriotic themes.
